Your basic game of 21 in a tough outdoor or indoor game everyone can participate in!
Different ways to play, add or change your own rules! Here are the rules we use currently at TheDiscGame.com, but feel free to tell us what fun rules you come up with!
Classic Team Discs:
The front of the boards must be 10 feet apart.
Each team has 2 players, one of each standing on either boards.
Each team takes turns throwing all 3 discs-
- Stand on the board,
- Last team to score goes first,
- Scoring is 1 pt- closest hole, 2 pts- mid, 3 pts- furthest hole.
- 1,2, &3 in one turn is an automatic win! (123)
- All 3 discs stacked is 4 points, (Stacker)
- All 3 discs on the board is 1 point, (Point)
- First team to 21, winning by 2, wins. (We've had a few games reach 28-26!)
- If a team reaches 11-0, that is a Skunk.
- A skunk is finalized by the last throws of the other team, as are the winning points.
- -i.e. team A has 11, B has 0. B can only be "Skunked" after B has taken their final throw. If A scores to 11 after B has thrown, that is a Skunk, since B did not score on their turn.
Singles Discs:
Played the same way as Classic Teams, except-
- One person on each board (no teams)
- OR both on one side, both walking back and forth to each board.
- Take turns throwing all discs (does not matter who scored last)
"Cut-Throat" Rules:
3 Players, Each has 2 discs
- All 3 players throw on one board, go pick up discs, and play the next board, etc.
- If any player reaches 11, and any player has 0, the player with 0 is Skunked, and the game will move on as a Classic Singles Disc game.
- If all 3 players score, the game continues to 21 as a "Cut-Throat" game.
- Both discs on the board in one turn is 1 point.
- Stack 2 discs, 2 points. (Stacker)
